The Vocational Interests Inventory HORIZON is a comprehensive psychometric tool, developed originally in the Greek language, which assesses students’ vocational interests. HORIZON was developed based on the Greek educational system.

The HORIZON Test consists of 190 items representing vocational-related activities. Using a 6-point scale, the student is asked to state the degree of his/her interest in getting vocationally involved in these activities. The test results are directly available and present the person’s vocational interests profile. The test duration is estimated at approximately 30 minutes.

  • To help students discover their professional interests and relate them to university departments, thus recognizing specific educational directions that best correspond to their personality and which they have to follow in order to achieve personal fulfillment.

The HORIZON Vocational Interests Inventory was developed by Dr. Georgia A. Koumoundourou. 
Dr. Ioannis Tsaoussis, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Crete acted as a scientific collaborator in the test development and standardization.
