The company Orientum – Career Counsellors participates in European projects which involve vocational guidance and career counselling. The goal of these projects is promoting services and tools for vocational guidance and career counselling, creating networks of relevant organizations in various EU countries, exchanging experience and know-how, implementing new practices in this field and disseminating these activities.


CareerGuide for Schools (Comenius Project)

CareerGuide for Schools” was the first European project in which our company participated. It started in June 2005 and was completed in September 2008. “CareerGuide for Schools” is a European network aiming at bringing together educators, psychologists, vocational guidance counsellors and representatives from the job market, in order to promote vocational guidance in schools.
The Coordinator for this programme was Ellinogermaniki Agogi, a private school in Athens. Other participants in this programme were institutions from Great Britain (Newman College of Higher Education, University), France (INSEAD, University, and University of Louis Pasteur, University), Germany (Technical University of Dresden, University), Lithuania (Vytautas Magnus University, University, and Kaunas Maironis Gymnasium, Public High School), Βulgaria (Technical University of Sofia, University), Romania (IPA - Automation and Information Technology, Technical Education), Αustria (Institute for Future Studies, Private Company) and Estonia (Alfa-Omega Communications, Private Advertising Agency). Finally, Greece also participated with ALBA Graduate Business School, Educational Institution.

Guidance and counselling for migrants and returnees (Gruntvig Project)


Guidance and counselling for migrants and returnees” started to be implemented in September 2009 and is still at the first phase of implementation. It is a project involving the exchange of know-how and best practices for implementation on issues concerning migrants, returnees and expatriates.
The Coordinator of the programme is the Human Resources company Yeminee from Slovakia. Participants in this programme are institutions from The Czech Republic (Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies, Technical University), Cyprus (Public Employment Service, Public Service), Great Britain (Regents College, University) and The Netherlands (Stichting Vice Versa, Non-Governmental Organization).
